Frequently Asked Questions

Freezing or Heating up our dips

Q: Can I heat Stonemill Kitchens Dips?

A: Stonemill Kitchens Dips are delicious served warm or cold.

To enhance the flavor and texture of Stonemill Kitchens cheese-based dips, we recommend heating them before serving with your favorite cracker or sliced baguette. Oils may separate when dip is heated. Stir to reincorporate.

Note: Creamy Spinach and Churro Cheesecake Dips should not be heated.

Microwave

Remove dip from packaging and place in microwave-safe container. Microwave on high for 30 seconds. Stir, then microwave for an additional 20 seconds or until dip is heated throughout.

Oven

Preheat oven to 400ºF. Place dip in a ramekin or other oven-safe container and bake for 10 minutes or until brown and bubbly.

Q: Can I freeze any of the Stonemill Kitchens Dips?

A: We don’t recommend freezing our products as it causes the dips to break down. Thawed dips do not retain original appearance or taste.

However, there are some exceptions! Our Cranberry Jalapeño Dip and our Churro Cheesecake Dip both freeze freeze and are delicious in decadent frozen dessert recipes.

INGREDIENTS AND MANUFACTURING

Q: Where are Stonemill Kitchens products made?

A: Our products are made at facilities located across the US. Because our products are freshly refrigerated, we aim to make and distribute the products nearest the regions where they are sold for maximum freshness and quality.

Q: Are your products gluten-free?

A: Our facilities make many fresh recipes from a wide variety of ingredients, so we cannot guarantee a “gluten-free” manufacturing environment. Although we have chosen not to make gluten-free claims on our products, each ingredient is clearly stated on the packaging label so that you can make an informed choice about our foods and your own gluten-tolerance level.

Q. Are there any peanuts or tree nuts in your facility where the products are made?

A: For the safety of our consumers with severe nut-allergies, please be aware that nuts are stored in our facilities and may be processed on the same equipment as other products. Despite rigorous allergen control and sanitation procedures in place to minimize the risk of cross contamination, we cannot claim with 100% certainty that some trace levels of nuts could not be present in any product we produce.
